We present a large-scale, longitudinal dataset capturing user activity on the online platform of DerStandard, a major Austrian newspaper. The dataset spans ten years (2013–2022) and includes over 75 million user comments, more than 400 million votes, and detailed metadata on articles and user interactions. It features structured conversation threads, explicit up- and downvotes, editorial topic labels, and pre-computed text embeddings, allowing rich analyses of online discourse while preserving user privacy. The dataset offers unique opportunities to explore aspects such as signed user interactions, discussion dynamics, and semantic analysis in the mid-resource language of German. It is especially valuable in a research landscape where automated access to social media data is increasingly restricted. We expect the data to support a wide range of future studies in computational social science, network analysis, and natural language processing.
